Meet the Artist
Hi! My name is Jasmin De Anda and I am a self taught digital artist and designer. I've been drawing for most of my life. It started with pencil drawings, then shifted into using photoshop constantly, and finally a few years ago after I purchased my first ipad, I started drawing digitally.
There was once a time where I wanted to make art my career. I dreamed of working in the film industry, designing and creating characters and concept art for big sci-fi projects. As I realized I was not ready for the commitment required for a college education, and lacked the resources to enter that industry, my dream changed. All I wanted to do was write the kind of books I wanted to read. Which is why in May of 2023, I published my contemporary fantasy novel "Archaic".
Through my publishing journey, I learned a lot about self publishing journey. One thing I realized as I began to connect with other indie authors is that it's difficult for them to end up with a professional looking book cover of their dreams.
Most indie authors are working on a budget, which makes it difficult to hire a professional to draw their book cover. Many authors decide to create their own covers through canva, but they run the risk of using images that other authors will use as well.
Thanks to my experience with art programs and layout editing thanks to my high school Yearbook class, I was able to draw my own book cover. It was when I started receiving compliments on it that I decided I wanted to help authors get their dream covers.
My goal is to get indie authors a book cover they can fall in love with at a low cost. From premade covers, to fully customized covers, I have multiple options to suit your budget. Check out my portfolio, and my premade covers available.
